Skyflowers eTV! – The Practice of Presence

After 5 years of running a Wednesday night flower essence study group here in Melbourne, I’ve decided to produce a short “eTV series” called “The Practice of Presence” to coincide with the Workshop Series of the same name.

Each episode covers a variety of subjects relating to flower essence therapy, “self help” and… to put it bluntly… “working with your issues”. However, rather than focus squarely on flower essence remedies, the series takes a step back and looks at the wider landscape of consciousness.

Rather than using remedies ( or other techniques ) to “chip away” at your “issues” in an effort to “dig out the real you”, we will begin at self – at center – and work our way outwards. We will be looking at the various aspects of mind and how these elements interact, relate and from there we are then better prepared to apply remedy to our situation.

Epsiode Guide

Episode 1 – The Landscape of Consciousness ( 18min – Filmed Dec 9th, 2008 ) Click here to see the video.

In this opening episode ( 2 parts on YouTube ) we look at consciousness and how our awareness is determined by our mental focus. The analogy of a beach is used to display the workings of the mind and how we create our conscious reality.

Episode 2 – The Mosaic of Self Image ( 9min5sec – Filmed Dec 9th, 2008 & Uploaded Feb 28th, 2009 )

This episode we look at how our self image belongs to limited mental and emotional impressions from the past, old information that becomes a barrier to our living in the present moment.
